Log into WordPress

Important: Below steps are working for both WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress domain.

To login to your WordPress site, follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1. Find your WordPress login URL

Enter the /wp-admin at the end of your site’s domain/URL in order to access your WordPress login page.
For example – If your website domain is example.com, then write example.com/wp-admin in your browser’s address bar to go to the login page.

Note: If you installed WordPress on root folder i.e public_html then example.com/wp-admin would be the URL for logging to your WordPress site. If you installed WordPress in a subdirectory such as “blog”, then your WordPress login page would be example.com/blog/wp-admin.

Step 2. Log into WordPress
Now you have found your WordPress admin URL, visit the URL in your browser. It will take you to the WordPress login page.

  • Enter your username.
  • Enter password.
  • Check “Remember me” if you want your browser to save the password.
  • Click “Log in”.
